MixBit is an app and platform for making and sharing videos. Along with Vine and Instagram video, it is one of a number of new platforms that aims to make video sharing faster and easier within a social media context. What’s interesting about Mixbit is it’s emphasis on video editing and the fact that it lets users create remixes and edits from each others content.
You can download the app for free from the Apple app store. It’s designed for iPhones but works on iPads as well.
You don’t have to register an account to create and publish projects with MixBit, but if you want to be able to access your work from the MixBit website, you’ll need to go ahead and make a free account to start, and then make sure that you use the same login info on your mobile device and on the website.
