Saturday is Record Store Day, the holiday when vinyl lovers — and the vinyl curious — search bins for exclusive releases while taking in live music. KQED’s Kevin Jones and Oakland’s Contact Records co-owner Hannah Lew join Forum to talk about the event and Bay Area record culture. Vinyl lovers, what’s your favorite Bay Area record store? And what is it about records that you prefer? We want to hear from you.

Guests:
Kevin Jones, interactive producer, KQED Arts
Hannah Lew, co-owner, Contact Records; bassist and lead singer, Cold Beat
