Cecile Richards will step down next month as president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, a role she has held for 12 years. She leaves as lawmakers threaten to end the organization’s taxpayer funding and as the Supreme Court deliberates on a major abortion case. Richards joins us to talk about her new book, “Make Trouble: Standing Up, Speaking Out, and Finding the Courage to Lead,” and how she and Planned Parenthood will continue to advocate for women’s health after her departure.
