U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested more than 150 people in immigration raids executed across Northern California over the last several days. Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf issued a controversial warning on Saturday that such a sweep was imminent. In a statement issued Monday, an ICE official criticized cities for sanctuary policies, which both Oakland and San Francisco have. Immigration advocates accused ICE agents of intimidation and racial profiling. We’ll talk with Mayor Schaaf and others about the sweep.

Guests:

Libby Schaaf, Mayor of Oakland

Deep Gulasekaram, professor of law, Santa Clara University

Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies, Center for Immigration Studies
