San Francisco-based musician Scott Hansen, who records under the name Tycho, spent his 20s as a graphic designer who made electronic music in his spare time. Tycho earned a Grammy nomination last year for the album “Epoch.” Hansen, who grew up outside Sacramento, joins us to talk about his career, his recent work and his upcoming New Year’s show at the Fillmore.
