Sunday’s “Rally Against Hate” in Berkeley was supposed to be a peaceful demonstration against a far-right group. And for the most part that’s what it was. But things did turn violent in the afternoon, after a large group of masked, black clad anti-fascist protesters clashed with a few right-wing and pro-Trump demonstrators. Berkeley Police arrested 13 people, including one for assault with a deadly weapon.
