Author Roxane Gay is well-known for tackling issues of sexism, racism and homophobia. All of these were central themes in her 2014 bestseller, “Bad Feminist.” But Gay says her latest work was the hardest to write: a memoir about being gang raped when she was 12 and overeating as a means of coping. Gay joins us to talk about her new book, “Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body.”
