Soon after taking office, President Trump repeatedly called the media “the enemy of the American people,” and his advisor Steve Bannon said the media were the Administration’s “opposition party.” And on Wednesday, the rift between politicians and the press turned violent as Montana Congressional candidate Greg Gianforte body-slammed a reporter for asking about the cost of the GOP health care bill.
