Some critics have called President Trump’s “America First” rhetoric “racist.” Same with his executive orders to build a wall along the U.S. Mexico border or ban refugees from Muslim-majority countries. At the same time, others have questioned how protectionist policies are actually racist … prompting us at Forum to ask: what does “racism” really mean today?
