Controversial Breitbart journalist Milo Yiannopoulos, whose misogynist and racist comments got him banned from Twitter, is slated to speak at UC Berkeley campus on February 1 at the invitation of the Berkeley College Republicans. Some students and faculty say Yiannopoulos spouts hate speech and have petitioned school officials to cancel the event. But the College Republicans argue that while they may not agree with everything Yiannopoulos says or with the white nationalist views published on Breitbart, the first amendment affords Yiannopoulos the right to speak on campus.
