Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States. “We are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people,” Trump said. The transition happened as police arrested protesters, and as the FBI, CIA and other law enforcement and intelligence agencies probe into whether money from the Kremlin covertly aided Trump’s victory.
