The United Nations passed a resolution Friday denouncing Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, describing them as a major obstacle to peace between Israel and its Palestinian neighbors. In a break from long-standing policy, the U.S. decided not to veto the measure, prompting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accuse President Obama of orchestrating the vote.  With John Kerry set to speak on the issue at the State Department on Wednesday, we’ll bring you the latest and discuss what a Trump presidency means for the resolution.

Guests:

George Bisharat, professor of law, UC Hasting College of Law; former legal consultant to the Palestinian Legislative Council

Abraham Sofaer, senior fellow, Hoover Institution; former legal adviser to the U.S. Department of State
