The holidays aren’t only big business for retail companies. Forty-six percent of nonprofit groups receive most of their funding between October and December, according to the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. But with so many worthy causes, it can be hard to determine what charities to give to. In this hour, we’ll discuss what to consider before donating to a nonprofit. We’ll also check in on a report that found 51 percent of Silicon Valley nonprofits say they cannot keep up with demands for their services.
