At Least 5 Officers Killed at Dallas Protest Against Police Use of Force

A protest in downtown Dallas against the shooting of two black men by white police officers in Louisiana and Minnesota  turned deadly Thursday night, when, according to the Dallas Police Department, two snipers shot 12 officers, killing at least five. Protests were also held in Oakland, where demonstrators blocked Highway 880 for a portion of the evening.
