Bill Graham and the 'Rock & Roll Revolution'

From the mid 60’s until his death in a helicopter crash in 1991, Bill Graham was at the center of the Bay Area’s rock and roll scene, producing nearly every significant rock concert in the region including The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendix, Pink Floyd and The Who. Now he’s at the center of the new exhibit, “Bill Graham and the Rock & Roll Revolution,” which explores Graham’s life from his childhood as a German Jewish refugee to his role as a prolific rock promoter. We’ll discuss the exhibit at the Contemporary Jewish Museum and explore Graham’s lasting impact on the music scene.
