UC Davis Spent $175K to Bury Coverage of Pepper Spray Incident

UC Davis is once again in the news for a 2011 incident it would rather forget. According to the Sacramento Bee, the school spent $175,000 trying to bury negative online coverage of the now infamous scene of a campus police officer pepper-spraying a group of student Occupy protesters. We’ll speak with the reporter who uncovered the university’s payments to two “online reputation management” companies.
