Apple is fighting a federal court order to “unlock” an iPhone used by one of the suspected shooters involved in the San Bernardino mass shooting that occurred in December. The FBI has asked for Apple’s help in breaking into the phone, which is protected by a password. In a letter to its customers, Apple CEO Tim Cook called the government’s demands “chilling” and says they threaten customer security.
