Almost a decade of conservative leadership in Canada came to an end Monday as the Liberal Party’s Justin Trudeau was elected prime minister. Trudeau, son of former prime minister Pierre Trudeau, says he will raise income taxes on the wealthy, admit more Syrian refugees and legalize marijuana.
