In his new book, “The Devil’s Chessboard,” San Francisco journalist David Talbot delves into the dark history of Allen Dulles, who ran the CIA from 1953 to 1961 and reportedly helped overthrow governments in Iran and Guatemala. Talbot delves into Dulles’ reputation for manipulation and adultery and questions whether he was involved in the JFK assassination. We’ll also talk to Talbot, the founder of Salon.com, about his new investigative book imprint and his progressive political organization, Vision SF.
