The $68 billion California high-speed rail project officially broke ground Tuesday in Fresno, and track-laying will now begin in the region. The groundbreaking comes two years later than planned and amid incomplete funding for the project. We’ll look at the current state of high-speed rail, and check in with its supporters and detractors.
