As Gov. Jerry Brown wraps up a trade mission to Mexico and debate still swirls around the ongoing crisis of unaccompanied migrant children crossing the border, we talk about politics and other issues with the Consul General of Mexico in San Francisco, Andres Roemer. We’ll also preview the “Mex I Am” festival, which brings Mexican musicians and artists to the Bay Area.

Guests:

Andres Roemer, consul general of Mexico in San Francisco, journalist, author of 16 books and two plays and winner of UC Berkeley's Haas International Award

Vicky Araico, dancer and actress who will perform her monologue "Juana in a Million" at Mex I Am

Diana Gameros, Bay Area singer-songwriter originally from Ciudad Juarez and performer at Mex I Am
