Members of the Boko Haram militant group massacred at least 125 people and torched homes in northeastern Nigeria on Monday, three weeks after the group kidnapped over 300 schoolgirls. The Islamist group has a violent history of kidnappings and murders, and its leader has threatened to sell the girls, 276 of whom are still presumed captured.
