CA Court Allows Law License for Undocumented Immigrant

In a closely-watched immigration rights case, the California Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Sergio Garcia, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, should be licensed to practice law. The ruling follows a California law passed last year that authorized the court to allow qualified applicants to be admitted to the bar regardless of their immigration status.
