Covered California Enrollment Deadline Looms

December 23 is the deadline to enroll for health insurance coverage that starts on January 1, 2014. In the last-minute rush to make the cutoff, nearly 50,000 people signed up through Covered California, the state’s health insurance exchange, in the first week of December alone.
