Recovery efforts are underway after one of the strongest typhoons in recorded history slammed into the Philippines on Friday, leaving many residents without food, water or electricity. The southern city of Tacloban was reportedly hit the hardest by Typhoon Haiyan, with some early estimates saying as many as 10,000 people could be dead.
