FAA Loosens Rules on Electronic Devices

On Halloween, the Federal Aviation Administration gave travelers a treat by loosening its restrictions on electronic devices likes iPads and Kindles used in flight. Passengers will soon be able to use portable electronics during takeoffs, landings, and the full duration of flights. Cell phone use is still prohibited, and travelers are still barred from going online when the plane is less than 10,000 feet in the air. We discuss the new rules and take your questions about holiday air travel.
