Faced with orders to reduce spending by $450 billion over the next 10 years, the Department of Defense has come up with a new strategy for a smaller, more agile U.S. military. The strategy calls for a renewed focus on Asia and a move away from big expensive wars like Iraq and Afghanistan. Is this a good strategy going forward?
