President Obama meets with high-tech business leaders in Silicon Valley today to stress his themes of job creation, innovation and green tech. It’s no surprise the valley is a place of interest to the president. A study released this week shows it’s a hot bed of economic recovery. Venture capitalists are investing and tech companies are hiring, even while inland California remains depressed.

Guests:

Russell Hancock, president and CEO of Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network which co-authored a new study on the state of the Silicon Valley economy

Carla Marinucci, political writer for the San Francisco Chronicle
