We continue our “First Person” series of one-on-one interviews with the local innovators, leaders and notable characters who make our region unique. Dave Iverson talks with Craig Hartman, the architect behind such high-profile local projects as the SFO International Terminal, the St. Regis Hotel and the towering Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland.

Hartman is currently designing new neighborhoods at Treasure Island and Park Merced in San Francisco, as well as an entire new city in China. His work has been recognized with over 100 awards for design.
