Bay Area Faces Shortage of Retail Workers

A new report by LinkedIn shows a renewed demand for retail employees nationwide, despite the ongoing closure of many brick-and-mortar stores. In most markets, there have been enough workers to meet the demand, but in the Bay Area there are about 10,000 unfilled retail jobs. Forum discusses what the shortage means for business owners and the Bay Area’s workforce.
