Larry Harvey, founder of the annual Burning Man event in the Nevada desert, died Saturday at a hospital in San Francisco. He was 70. The cause of death was a stroke Harvey suffered on April 4. Burning Man started as a small gathering on Baker beach in San Francisco in 1986 with Harvey and some friends burning a wooden skeleton. It grew into a celebration of self-expression and art that now attracts tens of thousands campers from around the world. We discuss the life and legacy of Larry Harvey and the future of Burning Man. And we want to hear from you: What does Burning Man mean to you?
