Kelly Corrigan’s new book of essays is framed around 12 different phrases, each used to explore a different theme such as uncertainty, parenthood, and loss. Influenced by the deaths of her father and a close friend, “Tell Me More: Stories About the 12 Hardest Things I’m Learning to Say” illuminates the role that language plays in giving meaning to the mundane and quotidian parts of life, even as grief persists.
