More than $2 billion has been raised in the presidential race so far, with Hilary Clinton boasting far bigger coffers than Donald Trump. And the big money is not limited to national races. Nearly $480 million has been raised for California’s 17 ballot measures, and local elections from soda tax measures to Oakland’s school board are also seeing a flood of cash. Forum looks at the donors funding this year’s campaigns and discusses the impact of money on elections.
