Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff is facing the threat of impeachment, as her country struggles to recover from a crippling economic recession and major health concerns surrounding Zika virus. Brazil’s lower house of Parliament voted Sunday to start impeachment proceedings against Rousseff, who is accused of using money from public banks to fill budget gaps. The upper house will vote in early May on whether to put Rousseff on impeachment trial. We’ll discuss Sunday’s vote and how it might affect Brazil as it prepares to host the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
