Amid unconfirmed reports of Verizon-ready iPhones, and surging sales and new models of Android-based phones, consumers in the market for a new mobile phone face a dizzying array of choices. We get experts’ analysis of the new phones, and take listeners’ questions.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple plans to begin mass producing a Verizon-ready iPhone. But so far, Apple hasn’t confirmed the reports. Meanwhile, Android-based phones have surpassed iPhones in sales in the U.S. — and 10 new Android models have already been introduced at a major trade show this week in San Francisco.
