 (Nick Bellizzi/Youth Radio)

Since 1992, Oakland’s Youth Radio has been producing thought provoking radio commentaries and reporting by 14-24 year olds. With a new book, “Drop That Knowledge: Youth Radio Stories,” and many new projects on the horizon, we spend an hour talking about Youth Radio and listening to some of their memorable radio pieces.

Guests:

Elisabeth Soep, senior producer and research director for Youth Radio and co-author of "Drop That Knowledge"

Belia Mayeno Saavedra, program coordinator for Youth Radio
