The SF Weekly has declared San Francisco the worst-run big city in the country, saying it spends more money and gets fewer results than other major cities. The Weekly’s rival paper, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, says that’s not so. Journalists from each paper join us to debate the issue.

Guests:

Benjamin Wachs, author of the "SF Government InAction" column on SF Weekly's website, covering San Francisco government, and co-author of "The Worst-Run Big City in the U.S."

Joe Eskenazi, staff writer for the SF Weekly and co-author of the article, "The Worst-Run Big City in the U.S."

Tim Redmond, executive editor of the San Francisco Bay Guardian and co-author of the Guardian's article, "The Truth about San Francisco's Budget"
