“D Tour” is a rock ‘n’ roll documentary which chronicles musician Pat Spurgeon’s struggle with kidney failure and his search for an organ donor. The film follows Spurgeon and the other members of local indie band Rogue Wave as they go on tour despite Sturgeon’s health issues, including his need to perform daily dialysis. We discuss the film, which airs January 7, 2010 at 10pm on KQED Public Television.

Guests:

Megan Shaughnessy, manager of clinical services at the California Transplant Donor Network

Jim Granato, director and producer of "D Tour"

Pat Spurgeon, drummer for the band Rogue Wave and subject of "D Tour"
