uNomalanga and the witch is directed by Palesa Shongwe.

Palesa Shongwe is a South African filmmaker, researcher, script writer and narrator whose first production, Atrophy, won the Oberhausen, Ecumenical Jury prize at the Short Film Festival in Germany. She studied at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg with expertise in visual arts.
