Victor Hugo Duran

Victor Hugo Duran was born in Tlalnepantla, Mexico and raised in Los Angeles. In 2007, he graduated from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television and completed several short films including Ayer, Antier and Botiando. Pursuing his M.F.A. in Film Directing at Columbia University’s School of the Arts, Victor has completed the short film Elotes.

In 2012, Victor directed and produced Fireworks, which went on to play to wide acclaim at the Tribeca and Los Angeles Film Festivals. His thesis film Victoria, GTO is scheduled be shot in 2013.
