Hey there Contra Costa County voter! You’ll be receiving a ballot in the mail by default for this election. Starting Feb. 5, you can return your ballot to any drop box location in the county. If you prefer to vote in-person, you can go to a countywide early voting location or your assigned polling place on Election Day, March 5, between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Supervisor, District 5

For the first time since 2000, the seat to represent eastern Contra Costa County on the board will be wide open.

The winner of this hotly contested race will replace termed-out state Sen. Nancy Skinner.
