ASCD Empower17 is a conference for educators, by educators. Through a host of prominent speakers, panels, debates, and interactive opportunities, attendees will discover new tools to grow professionally, and motivate students. This year, the conference will focus on empowering the “whole child” by re-examining what is meant by student success, exploring innovative teaching practices, looking at how to remove barriers to education, and connecting educators globally to share and expand ideas. The conference will take place in Anaheim, California from March 25th through the 27th. Join PBS So Cal and KQED in the exhibit hall as we feature free public media content for the classroom.
