Take a closer look at the role of modern journalism with Facing Ferguson: News Literacy in a Digital Age. KQED is proud to co-present this comprehensive workshop which is brought to you by the partnership between Facing History and Ourselves and the News Literacy Project, two educational organizations who share a passion for promoting news literacy in the classroom. As they explore the Facing Ferguson curriculum, participants will practice integrating a multimedia project into one of the lessons using online tools any teacher can access as part of the KQED Teach platform.
