Today we’re looking at the use of Layer Masks in the free, web-based photo editing tool Pixlr Editor. This post is part of a series.
Layer Masks might seem a little tricky at first, but once you understand their basic concept, you’ll find they can be a great way to achieve some powerful effects and control over your photo editing process. In essence, you can think of Layer Masks as cutout shapes that you lay over your image so that you can make changes that only apply to particular parts of an image.
