Marvin Gaye’s album, “What’s Going On,” has been called one of the great soul music records of all time. It was a concept album, written from the perspective of a Vietnam Vet returning home to a different America: one where urban poverty, the hippie movement, and raised fists boiled together with the anti-war movement.

This film was shown at BAYMN FEST 2013.
