In April of 2012, the student reporters in Mission High School’s Mission Youth Television (MYTV) created a segment on the issue of truancy and high school dropouts. Recently we have been told that a number of students in the SFUSD had dropped out of the school system, and we decided to find out what are the key reasons for the dropping rates.
This film was shown at the Rise to the Occasion Youth Media Festival in 2012.
