Through time-lapse animation, live footage, interviews and poetry, “The Mermaid – A Story of Restoration” aims to share the beauty of the San Francisco Bay with viewers and emphasize the importance of protecting it.

This film was shown at the KQED Science Youth Media Festival in 2012.
