We’re not eating enough nutritional food, and we’re drinking stuff that’s bad for us. What can we do about it? Some youth groups in the East Bay are growing their own food. It saves money, the food is organic, and it’s much better for us than the food we can buy.

Some groups are using art to promote a healthy diet and a greener environment. “Keepin’ It Green” highlights East Bay organic gardens, and art that celebrates environmental justice and green living.

This film was shown at the KQED Science Youth Media Festival in 2012.
