Surface temperatures have increased about one degree Celsius since the mid 1950s, according to the study, which relied on a database of 1.6 billion records. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/hostednews\/afp\/article\/ALeqM5jAHyJV2z4v-2UEOo6bYAFQQaROVw?docId=CNG.87699d35984c3444a0e0ba764eddfb45.7e1\">According to a report from AFP<\/a>, Muller told lawmakers that he no longer doubts that global warming is real and caused by humans.\u00a0 However, the extent of human influence remains uncertain, he reportedly said.<\/p>\n<p>This animation shows the
