This year's Outside Lands Festival promises to make music lovers and foodies alike very happy. With 78 restaurants, 37 wineries and 32 breweries, the three-day event (Aug. 7-9, 2015) looks like it's going to satisfy all types of appetites.
The festival, held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, will offer over 200 menu options across six different "experiences": "A Taste of the Bay Area," "Wine Lands," "Beer Lands," "Choco Lands," "Cheese Lands" and "GastroMagic." Check out just some of the newcomers this year, and scroll down for the full list.
Visit any of the 78 restaurants, food trucks and food carts, and catch a music performance at the same time. Twelve new ones join this year's lineup, including Delfina, Stones Throw, La Urbana, Merigan Sub Shop, Sightglass Coffee and Raj + Singh.
Festival-goers will have more than 120 different regional wines from 37 top winemakers to sample. Several newcomers are setting up shop in the 'Wine Lands' tent, including Chateau Montelena, Buena Vista Winery and Vineyards and CrossBarn. Local urban wineries Bluxome Street Winery and Dashe Cellars will make their debut, as well as two Oregon winemakers: Mouton Noir and Union Wine Co. Oregon-based sake maker SakeOne will also be there.
